Description of Service
caliber.cv is an AI-powered platform that helps job seekers tailor their CVs and cover letters to specific job descriptions. The service uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude) to analyse your resume content and job descriptions to generate optimised application documents. The service is provided “as-is” and is continuously evolving.
Account Registration
You must create an account via Google OAuth or email registration to access the service.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information.
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
User Content & Ownership
“User Content” means all information you provide: resume data, work history, skills, job descriptions, and any other career-related content.
You retain full ownership of your User Content. We do not claim ownership of your resumes, cover letters, or career data.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide the service.
This licence ends when you delete your content or close your account.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your User Content.
AI-Generated Content
The service uses AI to generate tailored CVs, cover letters, and other documents (“AI Output”).
AI Output is provided for reference only and does not constitute professional career advice.
AI models may produce content that is inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all AI Output before use.
You should never submit AI-generated documents without reviewing them for accuracy, especially regarding your qualifications, experience, and employment history.
We do not guarantee that using our service will result in employment or interviews.
You own the AI Output generated from your User Content.
You agree not to misrepresent AI-generated qualifications, experience, or credentials that you do not actually possess.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or right to work.
Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the service.
Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform at scale.
Reverse-engineer the AI or attempt to extract model weights/prompts.
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service.
Use the service to generate content that infringes others' intellectual property.
Attempt to bypass rate limits or usage restrictions.
Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and branding of caliber.cv (excluding User Content) is owned by the operator and protected by copyright and trademark law. The caliber.cv name, logo, and visual identity are proprietary. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without written permission.
Payments & Credits
The service offers free and paid access via credit packs.
Fees are as displayed at time of purchase and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Credits are non-refundable once used. Unused credits remain available in your account.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, caliber.cv and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim (or AU$100 if no payments were made).
We are not liable for decisions made by employers based on documents you submit.
We are not liable for AI Output accuracy.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI Output will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless caliber.cv and its operator from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms. This includes claims arising from misrepresentation of qualifications in AI-generated documents.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, with or without notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
Sections on intellectual property, liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales. For users in jurisdictions with mandatory consumer protection laws, those protections apply to the extent required.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you must stop using the service.
